DIY Synth Junk

Vendor Biography

May, 2020. I have decided to organize the things that I make under the name, "DIY Synth Junk." I will a) write for this blog (https://www.diysynthjunk.dev/), b) create documentation and host certain files on what I have called, the "Junklopedia" (https://sites.google.com/view/junklopedia), and produce podcast episodes for "The Logic Collector" (https://anchor.fm/bert-jerred). Each of these platforms will also contain extended links (e.g., to social media). My name is Bert Jerred. I teach college English and have a variety of side interests/hobbies, including music, audio, and electronics. DIY Synth Junk comes from my initial interest in making my own analog "synthesizer" (noisemaker?) out of recycled, repurposed electronics. This pasttime has evolved into a fairly regular stream of amateur-grade experimentation. This blog and connected projects constitute my interest in capturing this ongoing evolution.
